Ah, I lost here due to my own mistake; the situation was more or less equal. I had more money and a hidden stash of gnolls, while my opponent had a native town and more convenient exits.
On turn 117, I probably shouldn't have built a Castle. I didn't pay attention, and by turns 121-122, there wasn't enough money to buy everything. The biggest mistake was on turn 122, when I saw Cyra rushing towards the Garrison. Of course, I should have just retreated to the town and waited. Instead, I attacked with 80 Basilisks on the swamp with a Garrison. They bit quite hard, I drove Cyra away, but it didn't help much.
If I had left the Basilisks as a deterrent, he would have spent the entire timer and a portion of his army on them, and that's when I would have attacked. But instead, it turned out exactly the opposite.
