If balance or nostalgia is chosen, who decides which version will be played? Do computers argue about the minimum size?

1. Balance.
- The player who crosses out the second-to-last remaining template (leaving balance) chooses the size of the balance.

2. Mini-nostalgia, nostalgia.
- The player who crosses out the second-to-last remaining template (leaving nostalgia) chooses a template from two options (mini-nostalgia or nostalgia).

- The selection of factions is done in the standard way. The player who starts with the blue color in the first generation begins the selection.
