You can wear a jacket, sweater, and t-shirt. If it gets very cold, wear the jacket; if it's comfortable, wear the sweater and t-shirt; if it's hot, just wear the t-shirt. That's what I usually do. If it's hot outside and you're wearing a sweater, t-shirt, and jacket, I put the sweater in my bag and travel in the jacket and t-shirt. You can also wrap some drinks in the sweater in your bag. You can also bring a change of shoes (summer shoes or sneakers).
