Game crashes: questions and answers.

Question: I have Heroes of Might and Magic V Gold Edition - a licensed copy, and I'm using Windows 7. When playing missions, my saved games sometimes don't load. I try to load them, the game starts loading, and then it crashes to the desktop (while displaying a message saying that Windows is trying to find a solution to the problem). This happened in Heroes of Might and Magic and is now happening in Tribes of the East. If I load an earlier save, there are no problems, but in the latest save, I'm almost finished, and I don't want to have to replay the entire mission because of this bug. What could be causing the game to crash? Thank you in advance.
