rebellious (red, Inferno, Xarfax, Gunnar) def R55Max (blue, Tower, Daremyth, Thant), 6LM10a, 222
Inferno again, but red this time. Outposts: to the citadel, the ramp (through the monolith), and the swamp (monolith + metro). Three-tile dungeon with a water elemental.
I didn't spread out much on the map because my opponent started controlling my outposts too early after taking the first citadel. I had to dig in at home. Building the guild in the dungeon was difficult, but I got a teleportation, a chain weapon, and a damage dealer, and wings in the water elemental. So, there's plenty of room for Gunnar, but the cities were quite close to each other, and my opponent could easily return the cities. The time came when I was left without cities, and Gunnar hid in the darkness near the starting location on day 217. On day 221, I managed to reach the city, buy the most important creatures, and jump into the darkness. The blue player takes the city back, and the seven-day countdown starts again for me. After reviewing the replay, I didn't see anyone landing in the dungeon, and Gunnar decided to rush there, hoping for a double mana boost. To his surprise, he saw Thant there: weak stats, an unexpanded army, and no angels, but 330 mana against my 43. That's when the tactic of armor, attack, and mass haste came into play. All my creatures crashed into the opponent, dealing serious damage to the blue player's forces. After a retaliatory oil and explosion on the demons, mass haste followed, and the opponent conceded. Great luck! Thanks for the game.
