Played with a save, opponent refused to continue due to lack of prospects

The restarts ended and we ended up in Citadel vs Castle
Same towns at that
It turned out to be a double Citadel vs double Castle
Mullich arrived and at the cost of one bird the Roc caught two Efreeti in a refuge
Things were going quite well in principle
But I overlooked something and made a fatal mistake
I dispelled Teleport, jumped, and couldn't return from a one-way portal
Took both the Efreeti and the Roc there
Killed the stack, sure, but in the rebuilt Citadel there were 6 wolves left
Couldn't capture it without shooters, even though a scroll was lying on the road
Then Thixar loses a fierce battle to Gunnarsson who had a decent amount of meat
Caught two Champions in a refuge and, sacrificing a scout hero for Gunnar, I take the castle on 127
Meanwhile Mullich runs all over the map and has already collected a decent amount of artifacts and leveled up nicely
Saved at the point where I had bears in two Citadels
but there isn't enough meat for the only Griffin Conservatory for two respawns
Money is tight too
And Vidomina is necromancing heavily (I could see the approximate army of the opponent from the lookout tower)
Decided not to continue, although the Black Market on the first and second weeks left hope for an interesting confrontation between Barbarians and Humans. But the dark side got the upper hand over the humans and they started resorting to black magic. There was still hope that Sir Mullich would rid the humans of the witch Vidomina.
The Barbarians surrendered without a battle, unable to help humanity.
