If I haven't made myself clear enough, I'll explain in more detail: the point is that these small acts of vandalism are happening everywhere, but thanks to the media and online personalities, less discerning people get the impression that a global revolution has swept across the entire country, when nothing like that is happening. I can't speak for other cities, but since my city has already been "taken over," it's safe to assume that they're lying about the others as well. And in general, you can write anything you want in blogs, so it's the last source of information you should rely on.
