They could all use a visit there, but one of them occupied an entire wing of the hospital, just sitting there. The country hasn't suffered because of it.

Who are "they all"? All the politicians who speak out against the people – yes. Don't confuse a political prisoner with a criminal boss who put her in jail.

The current actions of the people, and what they are leading the country to, may lead to much worse consequences, both economically and in terms of the number of victims (future ones).

Everything that is happening in Ukraine now is primarily provoked by the authorities, and they bear all the responsibility for what is happening. None of this would have happened if Yanukovych had signed the agreement with the EU two months ago. Instead, he dispersed the Maidan and beat up students. After that, the conversation was no longer about the EU, but about his resignation. If he had resigned then, everything would have calmed down again. Instead, he passed a package of repressive laws. Of course, the people's patience ran out, and they got what is happening now. So, all the responsibility lies with the authorities, in particular with Yanukovych. For this, he will undoubtedly go to prison for the third time soon.
