The idea of making Yanek punish lower-ranking officers of the Berkut or the Ministry of Internal Affairs is relevant. Yes, it would send a message to the entire group of fascists in uniform that they will be held accountable for their actions. But Yanek promised the entire Berkut that he would not punish anyone, and so far, he has kept his word. The Berkut has not been punished even for the beating of students on November 30; it has already been 2 months. And, most importantly, this idea is not relevant at this historical moment – a complete overhaul of the government is needed.
