I was leading to the point that, in relation to Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, the term "brotherly nations" can be applied, but not in relation to Ukraine, the USA, Ukraine, France, or Ukraine, Poland. This is what we should be basing our understanding on. The fact that Russia has lowered gas prices and provided loans, etc., is a policy aimed at the Ukrainian government, which they are trying to pressure and sway to their side because Russia doesn't need another "PRO" (missiles) on its border :) (like Georgia).
