Leb, I don't quite understand you. What's wrong with Ukrainians wanting to be a separate nation, not a single entity with Russians, but a separate, independent nation?

This contradicts the natural logic of events. There have been many examples in history; each can be analyzed in detail, examining the true causes of divisions and their consequences. Each time, it involved intervention from several parties (including internal ones), and each time it resulted in a catastrophe for the people. The most striking and currently existing example is the two halves of Korea; I think no further comment is needed.

I repeat, I have nothing against the division into states; this is more of an economic division. However, the division of a single people is a clear sign of serious problems.
