The coolest feature of the green nickname is the ability to read deleted posts, but this time it's probably more of a hindrance to me. I really didn't want to get involved in serious political debates, but when I see such blatant nonsense, I can't help myself :D
I don't want to comment on either the pro-Putin or pro-American projects and regimes; essentially, they are all full of dirt and blood. I am extremely surprised and disappointed by another fact – the attitude of Ukrainians towards Russia. Not as a state and political regime, but as a country. I'm not a fan of various conspiracy theories, but it's obvious that Ukraine is drifting further and further away.
There are two conversations in my life that are particularly telling, one of which happened very recently on the road from Kyiv to home (after the Kyiv championship). I was riding in a taxi with a typical Kyiv resident, with a characteristic appearance and accent :)
The dialogue was approximately as follows:
(Driver) - Where should I take you, to the new terminal or the old one?
(Me) - I have no idea, I'll check my ticket now...
(D) - What flight is it, domestic or international?
(Me) - I hesitated for a couple of seconds and replied - Well, it's probably international, to St. Petersburg.
We were silent for a minute, then the driver said in a sad, low voice:
- Isn't it funny to you? What kind of international flight is that? 90 years ago, there wasn't even the word "Ukraine," and now you see different states, almost hostile... Do you understand what they're saying in the "Ukrainian" language? I don't really, even though I've lived here all my life.

This reminded me of a second conversation, about 15 years ago. Back then, I was very young and naive, but I was already trying to understand the essence of things and politics. I had a great-grandmother who was almost 100 years old and was originally from Kyiv. And we had a conversation like this:
It was during one of the first Russian-Ukrainian scandals (either about gas or some other nonsense), and I, as a true patriot, declared to my grandmother:
- These Ukrainians have gone crazy, they're not paying for gas, we should just cut them off! (or something like that)
- (Grandmother) - You're a fool, what Ukrainians? They are the same Russians as you, and forget that word, it's an invention that appeared during the Soviet Union, for some unknown reason, as is this language...
At that time, I thought that my grandmother was rambling in her old age, probably senile...

Later, I came across an article from a series of "conspiracy theories" against Russia, which said very close to what my grandmother and the taxi driver had said (of course, with a hundred arguments and proofs).

So, what's the point of all this? No matter what the political and governmental regimes are, no matter how much American and European forces pressure, it is impossible to divide Kyiv and Moscow into two different peoples. However, it is obvious that some forces are trying to fuel national hostility within the CIS countries, and the article in question is a very clear example of this. People, think for yourselves about who you support and how they will "support" you later.
