I always thought that if you accept an auto-win, you're basically playing for a draw :smile48:
Sometimes auto-wins happen due to a loss, as, for example, recently an opponent wrote to me that he lost due to a mistake and asked for an auto-win. I agreed without any problems. He mentioned that he would agree to a draw if I didn't mind. As a result, we played for a win, he won, and I acknowledged it - I don't even see anything shameful in that, it was all fair. Things happen, after all, and we play for fun and to learn and improve. And lately, since I've returned to playing Heroes on HW, I only play it in parallel with work (I don't have half a day to spend just on the game anymore). Hence, the frequent inattention. And in my case, there was no loss at all - I can send you the save files and the ICQ log as proof of what turn the auto-win was given and show what the mistake was. There really wasn't anyone to lose to.
P.S.: If there is a rule, even an unwritten one, about auto-wins and draws, then I am ready to agree to a draw if the opponent agrees, even though, in general, this auto-win didn't affect the outcome, or rather, refusing to give the auto-win wouldn't have affected it. Because I don't care about winning or the rating, I just want to do everything correctly and clearly, and it's even more frustrating that I've been playing for so long, and such stupid mistakes still happen ((
P.P.S.: sorry for the long text :)
