A small, informal tournament among club members in Moscow? (February 14-15-16)

If the event takes place, and I don’t see any major obstacles to that for now, then:
- Tournament format: m200, control 8+4+1, and I think we could add Jebus Cross L on a timer 16+6+1, but without penetration into two neutral zones.
- Tournament schedule: possibly Friday evening + Saturday + Sunday, but most likely it will be Saturday + Sunday.
- Venue: this depends on the number of out-of-town attendees. One option is to rent out the entire club, which has back rooms and the admins will allow those who need it to sleep there to save on accommodation, but to make this option work, we need to know who’s coming, who needs housing, etc. Another option is to rent a daily apartment for all out-of-towners and hold the event at Playground, a somewhat seedy place located inside a shopping center where you can buy good draft beer. The only downside is you can’t bring your own, but I think we can arrange something. Also, the hall is divided into two zones; we can rent one wing and get relative comfort. There’s also a plasma screen there, so in theory, streaming could be possible. Oh, and right across from it is an excellent pub—though I’ve forgotten the name, I think it’s Black Wood; prices are a bit steep, but it’s a great spot.
This is just a brief overview; a more concrete plan can be made once we have at least an idea of the expected quorum.
