I see a bit of confusion... let me offer some advice. I immediately focused on developing the Dungeon faction, either when I had a Necropolis or received the "Tome of Dark Magic" from a Necromancer, and I also found Sandro's Cloak, which made all Gnomes vulnerable. I used Dominate on Dragons and focused on eliminating flying units, used Vampirism on Archangels, and resurrected Archers at the end of the battle. The army suffered almost no losses. :smile17:
