Opponent chose two agreed-upon rests and off we went. From the start, got an artifact for +1 speed :):smile13: On the first week, two secondary towns - Necro and Stronghold, found 2 Griffin Conservatories and 2 Dragon Fly Hives :smile20: . No crypts, no Medusa dens or Dwarf cottages either.:smile27: Eventually, tired of running for treasure chests, I decided not to put cats in the main.:smile18: In the end, on the first week only 1-4 in the castle, and Shakti, by established tradition, refused to take Earth. :smile35: So after leveling up Expert Offense and Tactics, I had to take Wisdom (the alternative - some junk like Navigation). Bummer...:smile17: No stat artifacts found, took a Griffin Conservatory-coin on week 2, day 2 (goofed - could have taken it on week 2, day 1, but didn't believe it was a coin. Didn't want to waste extra Troglodytes on Harpy Hives, plus I wasn't spread out enough that a failure would risk losing tempo). On week 2, day 3 found and took my natural secondary hero, gave opponent auto :smile45: (a tradition, damn it, though!), Shakti turned toward the second Griffin Conservatory, but then on week 2, day 4 near the Barbarian secondary hero, next to which the Griffin Conservatory is, Kyrre pops up with up to 50 Elves, up to 10 Wyverns, up to 4 Unicorns and singles.:smile38: Scout hero runs behind him, sees Shackles lying there - the guards are dead. :smile41: Nearby, Red's scout hero with up to 50 Dwarves and up to 10 Dendroids. I stand in the metro near the exit to the Barbarian respawn with 1 Angel, quietly pissing myself because Kyrre with Log and Shackles can reach Shakti.:smile16: In the end, Kyrre takes the secondary town and heads along the road to the metro - toward me, but on the way turns into a Mana Source X2 to replenish mana, but doesn't make it :smile08: That ultimately decided it. On week 2, day 5, I attack with full force. Too lazy to detail the stats and armies, Kyrre had an advantage in stats but no Offense/Armor. Only 22 Elves, so I block my shooters, the Angel gets the first move - Elves put to rest, opponent completely out of mana. Opponent writes GG.
If the opponent had made it to the well, the outcome of the finale could likely have been different.
Thanks for the game! As always, played mediocrely, but this time I got away with it.:smile43:
