15.01.2014 The_ (blue, Tower, Solmyr, Xsi) def Vatya (red, Inferno, Marius, Dessa) TDD 132.
We took one restart each and started playing.
It turned out to be an amusing draft. In principle, blue color, which once again I take solely because of Tower and the secondary Dungeon, but playing as Tower wasn't part of the plan, but it turned out how it turned out.
Right away a Necropolis arrives, under the Castle an amulet +5%, the plan for the game is clear, nothing new, Demon farming? No, haven't heard of it.
I didn't use my own restart, because I saw through the scout a double GO from the opponent, the first one seemed like a freebie – horses, but the second one, rusty dragons, was more serious. I had GO Giants with GS.
First week, and indeed almost the entire game, I did unimaginable nonsense, didn't pass the boots to the main hero for two days (just didn't click through the artifact transfer), made some ridiculous moves, ruined the break-up, played most battles terribly. But complete control of the opponent's center gave a strategic advantage.
Xsi leveled up quite decently: Tactics, Wisdom, Air. In MG 5 + Library gave Flight + DD (Flight was already in a scroll), in MG 4 Chain Lightning. And even though there were no artifacts for stats on the respawn (only a hat +3 knowledge), after doubling in the Dungeon I had 200 mana and 11 SP, took the stables, broke into the central Inferno, defeated 7+7 Giant-Titans (previously sent scout heroes there), took a double Conservatory in the center, Shield +3+3, an experience chest, got Earth Magic expertized, they gave Sorcery. Chain Lightning for 600+. The opponent, on his 131, also broke a double GO, but few troops remained. I had up to 5 Angels, up to 100 Demons, up to 10 Efreeti in sight. On his 132, the opponent takes the Shield +3, which I had previously captured (for the sake of skeletons) with a scout hero, and retreats to his own respawn with Dessa. There are two options: either eat away the treasure zone, which is surprisingly large, or finish off the opponent in the Castle. I choose the second option.
Dessa 11-7-6-30 mana: 93 Harpies, 9 Efreeti, 2 Angels, a few Hell Hounds, holding defense in the Castle.
Xsi 9-4-12-107 mana: 4 Angels, 550 Skeletons, 9 Queen Nagas, 130 Blue Dragons, 18 Mages, + a few Skeletons.
We exchanged Implosions, Chain Lightning wiped out almost all the Efreeti, then I started hitting with Lightning Bolt for 6 mana for -11 Demons, gg.
Thanks for the game!
I had 113 left, the opponent had 112. I decided not to restart because I spotted 2 Conservatories and a decent GO of horses, though through a portal (in all games and restarts I've never seen a direct GO, so I'm used to it by now).
By 117 I realize everything is very sad, because the Conservatories are 1+2 and not a single external dwelling on 5 respawns. Nothing to be done, I have to Demon farm, luckily in the Skeleton I found a ring +1 HP.
The entire second week was spent Demon farming, because due to inexperience I left too few guards, burned the timer to hell, catastrophically short on gold.. On 127 I beat the horses on the last timer, and Dessa is idle with 1200 moves in the portal. Judging by the timer and the Tavern, the opponent hasn't broken his GO yet.
131 I dive into the portal, and there fortune smiled upon me – 8 Rusty Dragons  I barely buy up and go in. Defense 3, from the start they cut down a bunch of Pit Lords, then went after the Efreeti, and they gobbled up an Angel for company, and the noob-goats 100 of them couldn't kill a dragon with a single hit :smile32: Result: minus all Pit Lords, half the Efreeti, and an Angel. Pain and misery... And the opponent is already in the treasure zone. I fall back, build the Castle, hoping with the remaining Angels and Efreeti to break the catapult, but after Chain Lightning there was no one left to break it. And Dessa has nothing but Implosion. Well, Lightning Bolt finished it off, gg.
But if I hadn't gone into that unfortunate center, I wouldn't have lost so much meat and would have Demon-farmed another hundred goats, and it wouldn't have been me but the opponent who would have had to beat my GO, because time was on my side, but after a fight, you don't swing your fists...
As Vic rightly said, Demon farming on this template is a last resort, when nothing else remains.
P.S. I was especially amused by the distribution with my 111 restart. On the entire native respawn, a mere 2 mines with just 1 pile each nearby and THAT'S IT! No more resources, no buildings, nothing!
