Necromancer – “Assassination of the Ruler” [Campaign 3, Mission 4]

Hey, I was playing on my laptop, and I maxed out Markel in the previous mission (I also found the Ring of Sin artifact there). A cutscene plays, I choose the bonus, and after the start, within a second, another cutscene begins, showing what happens when you win. O_O Why is this happening? Version 3.1. P.S.: I know I'm a cheater, body and soul, but seriously, this is too much...
