It became obvious right away that money would be tight, and that's exactly how it turned out. On day 113, a secondary Inferno and a dead end (( No gold to hire the Sharpshooter, and even without him, I couldn't break through the strong troglodyte blocks. I scouted the Griffin Conservatory, hoping for a level 1, but it turned out to be level 3-4 (( At the first one, only 1-6 without minotaurs in the Citadel were blocking. At the second one, things got more interesting — on grass, I dug up my native secondary, grabbed a couple of crypts and a level 1 Griffin Conservatory. Then on day 124, during the movement of my main and secondary, Red pops out with 50+ arbalests and 5+ Griffin Cavalry. I don't have time to pass them through the chain and split back home; on the next turn I lose my main and the secondary Inferno, left with my native secondary. I take an external dwelling of Eyes, rebuild. In terms of stats, the Sharpshooter has a slight advantage + experience oil, but... Yet another Griffin Conservatory at only level 1 buries the ghost of a chance. Meanwhile, Red takes my level 3 Griffin Conservatory...
