Definitely two worthy candidates: Yostairs and The_. I think a vote is necessary.

Yostairs and The_ are in slightly different weight classes, if the main criterion for nomination is skill. Yostairs is at the level of helllight, twaryna, juristis, while The_ is at the level of Mishuta, Graf_baranov, and other Diablo and Grizzwald players (there are many more to list).
