Tusken Raiders

Wild, nomadic creatures that roam the sands of Tatooine. Hideous in appearance, Tuskens wear thick protective goggles, a breathing mask, and conceal their faces beneath layers of gauze. They are known for their attacks on human settlements and Jawa scouting parties. During these raids, Tuskens are armed with fearsome, sharp gaffi sticks, designed to beat and wound their victims. Few creatures on Tatooine have proven as fearsome and merciless as the Tusken Raiders. Outright bandits, the raiders wear breathing masks, protective goggles, gauze masks, and cloaks to protect themselves from windblown sand. This attire has become a significant component of Tusken society. The men and women of the sand people are indistinguishable, and even the Tuskens themselves rarely can tell them apart.
