Itorians

Itorians are humanoids with large, dome-shaped heads on sharply curved necks. They have two mouths and a sleek, brown or light green body. As a rule, they are devoted protectors of nature, strict vegetarians, and staunch pacifists. Many Itorians become galactic traders, peacefully traveling in huge, multi-passenger starships. They resort to violence only when threatened. Itorians, often called "hammerheads," originate from the planet Itor, covered in lush tropical vegetation. Itorians worship the Mother Jungle and long ago took an oath never to defile their homeland. After discovering gravity technology, the Itorians built huge cities floating in the sky above the surface of their planet. All residents moved to these platforms so that Itor would remain pristine forever.
