In reality, the ideology behind HotA is understandable and deserves respect. However, in some areas, they went too far, especially considering that some changes were not needed at all.

I don't believe in HotA at all right now. 1). There's no community. 2). There's a new castle, which means the changes will be even more significant. In HotA, at least, they didn't touch the parameters of the creatures. So, the SoD players won't like this at all.
By the way, that's a very accurate observation. The only way to attract an online community is with a "HotA under SoD" with minor balance changes, and then gradually introduce new features.
