2). A new castle means that the changes are even more global. At least in WoG, they didn't touch the parameters of the creatures. So, the players of the Stronghold faction won't like it at all.

1) It's just a matter of time.
2) They will have to like it. In HotA, most of the innovations are quantitative (a new castle, new artifacts, etc.), which doesn't repel anyone. Qualitative changes, of which there are much fewer, are introduced with great caution and thoughtfulness. So that, God forbid, the atmosphere of the game is not disturbed, so that the addon looks like the original, and not like an amateur one. In WoG, everything is exactly the opposite, a terrible WoG-style interface, a bunch of ill-conceived changes.
