Trandoshans are bipedal, predatory reptiles native to the planet Trandosha. These fearsome predators are cruel and merciless, exhibiting aggression from birth: the first offspring to hatch from a clutch devours its younger siblings. The Trandoshans' physique is perfectly adapted for survival. Their mouths are filled with two rows of small, razor-sharp teeth, and losing a tooth is not a problem – a new one will grow in its place. Trandoshans can also see in the infrared spectrum, thanks to their sensitive eyes. Their hearing is just as sharp as their vision; they can detect sounds that humans cannot even hear with effort. Their long, muscular arms, possessing immense strength, can kill a human with a single blow. Each limb has three fingers, ending in retractable claws up to 10-15 centimeters long. Trandoshans have large legs with wide feet, capable of withstanding both cold and high temperatures. The height of an adult Trandoshan ranges from 1.9 meters to 2.5 meters. Some assume that, given their massive size, Trandoshans might be slow, but this is not the case – in combat, they are extremely fast, agile, and mobile. The skin of Trandoshans consists of large, extremely strong scales, the color of which ranges from dark green to dull burgundy. Their eyes are small, forward-facing, and reddish-yellow, although they can also be green or blue. Trandoshans with blue or green eyes are considered gifted and often hold high positions in their society. Trandoshans have a very interesting cell regeneration system – if a Trandoshan loses a limb in battle, the lost limb will soon grow back. Trandoshans are excellent hunters and mercenaries – their most famous achievement is the enslavement of the Wookies. Since Kashyyyk is relatively close to Trandosha, the Wookies became the target of Trandoshan hunts.
