I decided to play in a tournament on Heroes of Might and Magic Online, specifically to try out what it's like to play with the "War of the Lance" (WOTL) mod on the "Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia" (HMM3) platform. Maybe I didn't understand it correctly, but it seemed that the HD mod and WOTL don't work very well together; some functions were cut, which made the game much less convenient to control. I couldn't finish one of the two games because my opponent and I saw different terrain during the battle, which caused a desynchronization. This ended my experience with WOTL.
