Decided to try my hand at being Ostap Bender. It turned out about the same.
Spent the entire first week messing around. Barely managed to place the creatures in the fort. Then I dug up Gunnisson. Things started looking up. Found a bunch of artifacts in the skeletons. Then I got him killed. Forgot to transfer the army and attacked someone with a single creature. Dug him back up. Lucky. On 132, I again forgot to bring the growth, and the griffins at the Conservatory beat me up.
