It's a rather strange logic. I thought it should be the other way around, with the version depending on the chosen map.
I don't understand where this timer for Warlords Tactics (WT) came from again. It seems that after the blitz tournaments, we came to the conclusion that it is quite possible to play something like 2-3K + 400, and I don't need you to repeat the stories about strategy, etc. No matter how many Jebusoid streams I watch, it's always the same: wait, def are clicked with the mouse, splitting troops is a complete disaster, and it's good if someone can separate units using hotkeys:confused:
Guys, I'll reveal a terrible secret: for manipulating the army in WT, it's not necessary to go into the hero at all, and this saves a lot of time!
KobRa, Artem, I know you've been very busy lately, but maybe you'll find some time and make a tutorial video on how to use hotkeys properly!
I even know which "Jebusoids" you're talking about. They don't make it far in the Jebus tournaments, and they are unlikely to appear in the CIS scene. True Jebus fanatics are fine with hotkeys, etc., and the timer is simply needed because 8-10 heroes are busy with something useful, and not 2-3, as with the "Jebusoids".
Mirrored maps are, of course, great. But are we trying to turn heroes into a pure sport? Or are we:confused: ? Playing only on mirrored maps will also not be the CIS scene, but just a tournament on mirrored maps, for which it doesn't seem reasonable to gather the bohemian hero community for a week away from most people's homes.
It seems that we will not come to a consensus on the versions, as always. Therefore, I propose a simple option: in a match between a SoD player and a WT player, flip a coin to decide whether it will be a "pure SoD" or "WT with SoD settings - all special settings disabled". This is fair.
I really want to participate in the tournament, especially a "home" one, but not like in Novosibirsk, where I made half of the moves in the game with Anton sub-optimally because "damn, there's no gold", "damn, they have morale" and so on. And to train specifically in SoD - well, no thanks, I'd rather play Dota. No offense. Or just send Lizard and his supporters to hell - let them organize it, and we will gladly play SoD ourselves.
