McDonald's warns employees about the dangers of fast food
McDonald's has published a presentation for its staff, noting that fast food restaurant products are harmful to health.
The publication appeared on the internal website McResource Line, which is intended for company employees.
The publication includes images showing examples of "unhealthy" and "healthy" food. On one side is a standard fast food set in the form of a glass of cola, a hamburger, and french fries. On the other side is a glass of water, a sandwich, and a salad.
The presentation also notes that "it is difficult to maintain a healthy diet if you often eat at fast food restaurants."
"Fast food is a quick, inexpensive, and accessible alternative to preparing and eating home-cooked meals. Fast food is a convenient and economical food in the context of a fast-paced lifestyle. However, this product is high in calories and usually contains a lot of fat, refined fat, sugar, and salt. Frequent consumption of such food leads to an increased risk of obesity."
