In the first game, I was generally catching up to the opponent more than he was to me. In the end, the specialty of Tazar played a bigger role at the FB because it was simply a backyard brawl.
In the second game. I had terrible luck with the treasure zone; in the end, even though the opponent emerged a day and a half later, his emergence was in a very strategic location, and he beat me by just a bit, so the majority of the treasure zone and the other two (!) emergences into other areas were closed off to me. Because of this, I surrendered, placing Crag Hack on the rush right under the opponent's nose.
In the third game, I thought I was completely screwed because I hadn't taken any secret areas in the first week, only revealing four Dragon Fly Hives and that's it. But what saved me was that two Dragon Fly Hives were max, and Shakti was leveling up very well. So when I entered the treasure zone on day 124, I immediately grabbed a couple of Dragon Fly Hives, and guessing the direction correctly, I hit two good Dragon Utopias, a couple of Dragon Fly Hives, and a great hero in a prison. In one week (Shakti got Pathfinding only as the last skill), I took five Dragon Utopias, though I made a couple of small but not critical mistakes. In the end, the power was good and the stats were significantly better, so the opponent surrendered even without an FB.
Thanks for the game.
