Just don't start watching from the first episode of the first season, like I did. After such nonsense, you lose all desire to watch it further. I think it's better to start with some other season (let Kosh say which one).

I started watching the first episode of the second season of Doctor Who. It's interesting, but confusing because there are many references to the first season, which I haven't watched.
