CHALLENGE The_ CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, The_'s CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
_NEO_29.12.2013 _NEO_(red, Swamp, Taz/Taz) def artbocha (blue, Rampart, Kirr/Galtaran) 2sm4d(3), 142 It turned out to be an interesting game; the opponent had a double and many hiding spots, while I had Galtran. The opponent took my growths for the 2nd and 3rd weeks twice. I cleared 1.5 treasure zones and pulled the Earth book in the Dragon Utopia; I thought victory was in the bag and attacked Tazara in the Castle with my 160 mana, an impressive stack of same-day skeletons, and other small units—since I hadn't taken the 2nd week growth yet. I blocked the gates and hit them with Fireball (without reflecting on the opponent's possibilities; everything seemed to be going too easily). I believed in my victory too early and didn't put anti-magic on the same-day units; the opponent killed all the skeletons and spent every round casting Blindness on the same-day units, and I couldn't make any more moves :) :) :) Believed in my victory too soon. NEO played very skillfully throughout the game and exploited all my mistakes.
