Either create a poll and avoid headaches, or clearly define the templates now; those with objections will immediately voice them. Decide right away at what stage to ban HL templates and when to allow them. I agree that it's better for the last two rounds, provided there's enough time. You could add a couple of HL templates to the draft.

A clear pool of templates will definitely be announced before the tournament. There's still time to decide together – let's do it. The main problem with HL+U templates is that they lead to long games and missed deadlines. We need to clearly define how to solve this problem (there will definitely be no delays – this is unacceptable) and, if there is such a solution, we can include 8mm6a in the template pool instead of Mini-nosty. Then the template pool will be diverse enough to suit everyone. I don't see the point in adding more HL templates. But the question remains open: how to deal with the time issue? Awarding victory at a certain time? Forcing a final battle at a certain time? Or something else?
