We took all rests.
This was a game where luck and misfortune walked hand in hand, but in the end the scales tipped in my favor.
I find Dimer as my fourth hero and decide to make him my main, freeing him from blocked respawns by running to a secondary zone. However, there's a problem: my entire secondary zone, including all mines (except crystal), the Castle, and other goodies, is cut off by a block on the adjacent zone to my opponent with 50-99 orcs. I have to run to my own adjacent zone, where the first ray of hope appears — a refuge, albeit guarded by 20-49 wood (also protecting 2 treasure chests). With an army of 22 Gogs, 22 Imps, 3 Cerberi, there's clearly nothing to catch. I run through the stat boosters, take a pre-max Crypt (I don't know how I got out of there — had it been max, the game would probably have ended there, given the native terrain for the crypt's inhabitants), Efreeti in the Citadel + a thousand.
On 122 I break the refuge, bringing in meat, and lo and behold — 2 upgraded Phoenixes. Well, goodnight, valiant soldiers. And in the adjacent zone there happen to be three Hives. With the birds I collect all the Dragon Fly Hives, meanwhile eating stat boosters for spell power and knowledge, ending up with 22 Wyverns. One disappointment: Dimer has Expert Wisdom, Expert Scouting, Expert Archery, Expert First Aid, and Basic Water Magic. And there's no chance to get GM2, since there are no sulfur piles and none are expected. I send Dimer home. On 125 I stand before the GO (18 Cavaliers) for a speed boost, planning to attack my opponent, since it's already late and I'm incredibly sleepy.
Dimer: 1-0-10-69 mana (after breaking the GO), army: 2 Phoenixes, 22 Wyverns, 5 Efreeti, 7 Demons, 30 Gogs, single Imps. I reach the blue Castle, but I was clearly expected, as evidenced by the fortified Castle and Charna with all her might inside. Because there is only one Castle, I cannot see the opponent's army, only the troop composition. But I decide to go all the way and didn't regret it.
Charna: 6-5-5-40 mana, army: 12 Gold Dragon Flies split into two stacks, 3 Wyverns, 11 Suitcases with Collars (scorpicores), 25 Lizards in a Cloak (basilisks?), 150 Skeletons, 44 Gnolls, a Tent.
The opponent's Mass Haste was a bit stressful, but overall, two birds, a shooter on 110, 22 ducks, and no negative morale rolls on my key stacks did the job — Dimer celebrated victory.
Thanks for the game!
Confirmed. Good layout money-wise, adjacent zone is sand. In the end, Nekril as a main on swamp and sand) I was planning to take the Griffin Conservatory 3-4 on 131, but Ze came running just in time. Throughout the game I thought he wasn't doing well, but in the end I got slapped in the face by the Phoenixes and 22 ducks) Thanks for the game!
