HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
I support the suggestion! The same applies to all text editors that can modify the game...
There are several dozen such text editors. And these will only be half-measures (although you have to start somewhere). And it should not only concern text editors, but also the executable file and libraries, and physical memory. And resident programs that can easily access and modify the heroes' memory. The only question is how feasible this is. Dirty_Player
Also, there is a suggestion that after all the passwords have been entered, they should be saved to a text file so that after a month, you can view the saves without having to remember what the passwords were?
That's already the case. There was a post about passwords not so long ago. Or what are we talking about then? And the password system is being improved (I even noticed that the extra space before the closing parenthesis in the file name has been removed). Another thing would be if, instead of a bunch of files, there was one file with a line-by-line indication of the necessary statistics with the date and time, and the passwords themselves. And even with a backup (copying to "My Documents", for example). By the way, passwords are only recorded and added on the host's side, while on the opponent's side, they are overwritten. It would also be useful if the initial save was immediately written to the disk, so that in case of an error during data transfer, the generation would not be lost.
