I followed the tournament closely. Open discussion is a great idea! I didn't download the map. I play for fun. But the tournament creator didn't just win for no reason. It feels like this map is his favorite, and he's played it many, many times before achieving such a result. No, he's definitely great for organizing such an event! He just shouldn't have put himself on the list of winners. You rightfully won.

So, he's awarding me 1st place even though I don't want it. I also played this map once before. And maybe others did too. But each time the starting save is generated, something changes – the artifacts are different, the monsters are different. Then, this tournament was conducted as part of an experiment. People here don't really appreciate Tournaments for the 4th game. But he raised some important issues regarding the 4th game. And we're trying to define the rules and get some things across to every player so that they can play the 4th game competitively without resorting to save-loading over long, but realistically passable, battles. So, for now, Beastmaster is working on ongoing experimental tournaments. And later, there might be normal ones – like VDV or Alan do with tournaments for other versions.
PS. A couple of years ago, we both played this map in a similar, almost closed, tournament. :) I took 1st place then, completing it in 17-18 days. There were different starting conditions – by the way, it seemed to us that the starting conditions were harder now than they were then, but we still completed it faster than those results. I played it once without replaying. This time, I also played it once without replaying. And this time, Beastmaster probably replayed it at least three times to achieve such a result. So, I'm actually saying that he should give himself 1st place. But he's stubborn :) and keeps saying that he's the organizer and that's it. :)
Yes, the places in this tournament don't affect anything. But in the first stage of Canigam, I didn't get lucky again – I fell behind the leaders by one day. But everyone is close together in the top ten. :)
