There was a case when Hitler was wounded during one of the battles of World War I. He was lying there, and a French soldier approached him and pointed a rifle at him. Hitler shouted something like, "I will kill all of you French dogs someday." The Frenchman probably didn't shoot him because he laughed. Imagine, a wounded enemy is lying there and shouting something that is basically impossible. And he didn't finish him off. But he should have, considering what happened next – Hitler defeated France.
