Because I'm using the number you mentioned earlier.
Well, on the L-map, where there will be more chances for good development and the distances between fortresses will be greater, 8 heroes is a perfectly normal number, or even more. And it's not that difficult to acquire them. On the M-map, 4 heroes will be enough. :) Go read the discussion about the first tournament. There, Zingel finished the walkthrough in about 2 weeks and had 11 heroes in the game! Pay more attention to the facts from specific games and experienced players.

Guys, we're not talking about caravans, and not about "chains" (UGH! :D) But about thieves! :) Thieves have a normal impact on army movement, and without any "chains"! :D
That's right. That's what we're discussing: what would happen if there were no thieves. :) And we're considering this using Heroes 3 as an example. The fact that you constantly emphasize that chains are "UGH" just shows that your level of play isn't very good. I thought maybe you wanted to improve so you could perform well in tournaments. But I'm no longer interested in discussing thieves just for the sake of it; I already know that thieves are awesome
