It all started when Bishop brought in a horde of Wyverns, Angels, and Mass creatures at the end of the second week, when I had nothing at all due to a road block.
But I had built a Capitol and Armageddon, after demonstrating which Vasya cleared off to go farming, and I found Kyrre in the tavern, whom I started leveling up.
I fought as best I could, but at the last moment Vasily found 2 Utopias, which allowed him to upgrade the Angels and Wyverns, as well as boost his stats.
In the first round, Bishop casts Mass Shield; I dispel it from the Archers with a fly, pile on with all my stacks + implosion, and came up just short of finishing off an Archer with 80 HP, which prevented me from going first in the second round.
After a Fireball, I bought back with Monarchs and Ogres, leaving Bishop with 2500 Skeletons and 70 Monarchs. Then I immediately attacked him in his castle, where tricky Vasya kept 1 Archer for himself, apparently for growth and initiative (he planned to lock him in the castle and flood him with magic).
In the end, I bought back again, killing 33 Monarchs and 400 Skeletons without losing any of my own.
I had more castles, still had 20 Master Genies, 22 Magi, 30+ Golems, and something else; I could have played for another month by thinning out the troops with Armageddon and implosion, but what threw me off was not digging up the Grail, as well as missing his castle by a couple of squares—from which I could have hopped to the castle—and I decided not to continue. :smile39:
