Shale gas is an even bigger scam than EU membership. Google the topic, you'll find a lot of interesting information about this fraud.

In the Kharkiv region, there is one district (I won't name it specifically) where 10 different companies extract gas from about 200 wells. Guess whether they are private or state-owned? :D :D Not a single penny of taxes from this extraction goes into the district budget. Now it's clear why it's "not profitable" to extract their own gas and why there's always a shortage? ))
Obviously, this isn't the case for everyone, but for those who understand, don't bother, the most important thing is friendship with Russia))).
