My intuition failed me; such setups need to be restarted even with Galthran, whom I relied on. As a result, I was catastrophically short on gold; if not for the external market, I could have surrendered immediately. Grinding my teeth, I stuck the bears into the Citadel and planned to take their external dwelling on day 2.
I bought 2, took them from the external dwelling, and delivered from the dungeon, totaling 4 bears, 4 rocs, 24 water elementals, and some other junk. Galthran got Earth and Wisdom. I dive into the nearby treasure zone from the barbarian computer; there's an immediate block of 50+ griffins for a Pandora's Box + peppers. I calculated that it would probably be all the elementals or level 5, but only Advanced Wisdom.
I beat the griffins; 3 bears and 1 air elemental came out. At first everything went perfectly, but at the end they cast petrification with a 75% chance :smile30:. I decided to spit on the Pandora's Box and not take it for now. The next day I gained a couple of levels, but they experted my basic Earth, damn it. I decide to take it, and it's lol, all water. I ran to the Castle, finally got Slow, took the Dragon Fly Hive, beat the Cerberi and imps.
The second week was nearing its end, and I hadn't seen a single Conflux, and only 1 Dragon Fly Hive was eaten, which was sad. Next, I took the ring (+1 HP) with partial delivery of another Dragon Fly Hive behind the Arch Magi, the library, and the +5 club. Stats 14/9, and I have mana for Shield. I check the Dragon Utopia, ready to take a small one, and it's the maximum :mad:
I had to break into the dungeon, double the mana, visit the stables and the hut with Loga. Then spend another day to run to the Dragon Utopia. I cleared it without major issues, thankfully a couple of exp boxes; I now have Expert Water. They gave me Wings, a Sword +12, a Tunic 4/4 attack/defense, and something else not very important. Then Kyrre arrives with Dimension Door and takes my Confluxes, and apparently the barbarian determines by spectating that I'm in that treasure zone. I managed to evacuate the army from the Confluxes, took it to an unexplored treasure zone near the dungeon, and went myself to find the exit from this treasure zone, which turned out to be. While Kyrre wasted time searching for me, I collected skeletons. Galthran took the Castle in the treasure zone, and I knew Kyrre would run there, and I needed to put something so he wouldn't build a Tavern, but I was slow. And he practically eats up that treasure zone with Lichs in a couple of days.
And in my treasure zone, I cleared 3 worthless Dragon Utopias, a bunch of Pandora's Boxes, and got absolutely nothing of what I needed. Army-wise: I have 7 Arch Devils and 80 Hydras, he has 650 skeletons and 40 Hydras. Stats are even; he has only Dimension Door and Fly, I only have Wings, I can't maneuver anywhere. I took his Necropolis, upgraded the skeletons, and sat in the Castle. Fire Blast went poorly, and against 20 speed on Arch Devils + having Mass Haste and Slow and Implosion, I had nothing to offer.
