A blade lying on the ground
Covered in dew
Open for all to see
It has been almost everywhere
And where the Tsar Sultan ruled
Destroying the enemy's ranks
And where the Duke passed
It severed his head
And also was there
Where its master fell
It is inscribed with the tale
Of where that warrior with an axe was
And how, bringing fear and pain
It sank deeper into flesh
And how that fateful metal
Quickly ended a life
But it is not written about
That the fallen knight was in love...
