A list of wanted criminals...

Lugus read about the criminals, imagining meeting each of them, trying to identify the strongest and the weakest, but it was difficult to compile a clear list based on these descriptions. He certainly wasn't thinking about defeating any of them alone; rather, he was trying to estimate his chances of survival if he ever encountered a wanted fugitive, but he still hoped that fate wouldn't prepare such a meeting for him.
When he got tired of reading the crime report, Lugus approached the ice book.
- Let's see, - he poked his finger at the first task and began to read. By the way, he was not very well educated and didn't read very well.
- ....... Vaironia.... Emissary... to the ruler... the Emperor's sword..., - Lugus didn't even finish reading; the matter was clearly very serious and dangerous, and besides, he didn't want to return to Vaironia, let alone get involved with all these people.
Next on the list was a message about vampires.
- No way, I definitely won't sign up for that. - For a few seconds, Lugus found himself in a vampire lair, dark and gloomy, teeming with various worms and cockroaches; terrible sounds were heard everywhere, and the air was so humid and foul that it was difficult to breathe.
His fantasy was interrupted by the voices of the brothers passing by. Returning to the list, he found that only one task remained. The fourth one was already in progress, which upset Lugus because it turned out to be the most suitable for him, but alas, it was too late, so he had to consider the third option. It seemed less dangerous than the previous two, but the journey ahead was long, and Lugus didn't have much knowledge about countering mages. This made him think about his choice. He decided to take a walk around the castle while he pondered.
