The USA was also a colony of England for a long time. Every country goes through this, and everything has its time. But this is not a reason to think that nothing can be changed and to meekly continue to lick the master's boots. One must always fight for independence. Events like the Maidan, despite their scale, cannot instantly lead to a result. But they are necessary building blocks in the construction of a free society. As they say, freedom is expensive, but it is worth it.
