Surprisingly, the result on this map depends less on the player and more on the AI. It depends on how the AI develops and where its heroes go. Although, the latter is much less important, because after capturing the first AI castle, with skillful play, you can reach any point on the map on the 3rd day.

Well, I was just getting acquainted with the map and playing it like a normal person (I killed all the paladins in my territory, went through the portal, etc.), and not in a twisted way, like some players do. That's why the result of my first playthrough was a month and a half to two months.

Hmm, you're wrong, my friend. Sometimes you attack someone 15 times: 12 times you get defeated, 2 times you manage to survive, and once - with almost no losses! I don't know if this happens in other versions of Heroes, but in the first one, it's quite possible.
