Well, you know, your grumbling along the lines of "they gathered, chatted, complained, and then dispersed" (see Mikhalkov's monologue in the film "12"). Yes, you are more calculating and cynical; let the people freeze, while you drink tea, observe, and continue to complain. Maybe they'll change something for you.

This is simply stating the fact that, with the current system, it will be extremely difficult to change anything.
Let's revisit this topic in 3-4 years; time will tell who was right. Of course, some improvements will appear in certain areas, but I'm sure that overall, things will remain just as bad. Although I really hope to be wrong, especially since you know that my personal income depends on the general well-being of citizens, so I am interested in improvement just as much as anyone else.
