Opp took all the rest, I didn't take the last rest because 9 elves came, along with Marius and Broghild, though there were only two roads.
I cleared a couple of crypts, leveled up nicely with Marius, boosted Broghild a bit, and the scout hero leveled up quite well along the way ). Had no money issues, took the external dwelling of elves on 116. Home horses in Castle, near the Castle the Griffin Conservatory with 1 guard and gremlins was captured. On 116 I see the opp going for a rest on the meeting route. I see he's unlikely to make it, so I continue with my plans. I start Marius at the Castle, preparing to take the Griffin Conservatory on 117. On 117 the opp doesn't reach anyone with his scout hero, after which he writes gg.

After the reveal, it turned out that the opp had taken my native secondary town via wasteland (which I had access to via Town Portal) and decided to go for the rest on the meeting route anyway. Basically, the meeting on the second would have been inevitable.
