The game crashes during the Inferno campaign – mission 3.

There is no need to reinstall anything. This is a known bug in version 1.4 – the game crashes after summoned creatures or phantoms die. I recommend following Alana's advice. After installing 1.41, the game stopped crashing for me and my friends.
