I would personally vouch for you, provided everyone else agrees, so that VDV would accept your best final save. Actually, why not accept an even better final save from someone if they happen to have had a chance to replay? You could even include this in the rules. That is, you can submit a save no more than twice. Well, that's exactly why we have such cases :)
So, think about it - anyone could be in that player's shoes.
If we consider the first option as 100%, then it turns out that it was improved by 25% :D
Rather, in this case, the final result should be taken as 100%, i.e., it turns out that it was improved by 300% :)
