You're not entirely right here. After all, Manka had that thing, what was it called, a seal of silence? This means that with a sufficient number of players, the town might not have enough votes to control the day, if Manka had deprived Vesper of his vote.

Rita actually voted, but everyone ignored it. And the tactic of cowardice involves staying home at night, not being reasonably cautious during the day. It would be stupid to reveal yourself as Mafia during the day just to execute a serial killer, and then die at night, giving the town the victory.

She voted a bit late. She should have done it one turn earlier. There were only two of you in the game at that point, so don't talk about the last chance that the cartel was losing by revealing one of their own.
